Experienced. Independent. Family-Focused.
I have worked in SEND for over 10 years. Career highlights include setting up an award-winning Alternative Provision, achieving 100% positive outcomes for children and young people listed as NEET, and 100% success on SEND advocacy cases including appeals. I now support families through EHCPs, appeals, and wider disputes with Local Authorities.
Having worked within Local Authorities, including representing them at Tribunals and Mediations, and extensively as an independent advocate for families, I understand the inner workings of both sides of the SEND system. That dual perspective means I know exactly how LAs build their cases, where the pressure points are, and how to hold them to account when they fall short of their legal duties. I have supported families through some of the most complex cases, including those involving medical needs, social care needs, EOTAS and ABA packages.
I am completely independent. I do not work for any Local Authority, school or health provider. My only interest is ensuring your child receives what they need to help them succeed.
What I Bring to Your Family
I understand how overwhelming and isolating the SEND system can feel, particularly when you have been let down before. Many of the families I work with have experienced years of inadequate provision, broken promises, and a system that feels stacked against them.
I bring deep SEND law expertise, practical Tribunal and mediation experience, and a proven ability to hold Local Authorities to account. I combine this with genuine empathy and a commitment to person-centred, lawful practice.
Whether you need help understanding an EHCP, preparing for a Tribunal, or designing an EOTAS package that actually works for your child, I will work alongside you to make sure the system delivers what it should.
Legally Grounded
IPSEA L3 SEND Law qualified. Every recommendation I make is rooted in statute, the SEND Code of Practice, and current case law.
Family-Centred
I work for your family, not for any Local Authority or school. Your child's needs come first, always.
Proven Results
100% success rate in advocacy cases. Families I have supported have secured the provision their children are entitled to.
